About the Department of Radiation
Oncology
Nursing Team
Our professional
team works closely with physicians to provide patient teaching, emotional
support, symptom management, and coordination of care.
The Nursing
Team consist of specially trained Registered Nurses and Patient Care
Technicians who are committed to providing complete and considerate care. Ongoing clinical supervision supports patient assessment
and care during initial consultations, treatment and all follow-up
visits.
The Nursing Team coordinates clinic visits and scheduling
of diagnostic testing. Completion of research protocols and
management of side effects are key components of nursing
responsibilities.
The Nursing Team is dedicated to excellence in
the delivery of care to oncology patients and their families.
