About the Department of Radiation
Oncology
Administration and Business Operations Team
Our
professional staff, in coordination with physicians, health plans and other
resources, strive to assist patients so that their clinic experience may be
as efficient and satisfying as possible.
The Administration and Business Operations Team provide financial,
administrative, operational and human resource support to faculty and staff
within the Department of Radiation Oncology. Some of the support services we
provide include:
- Budget and financial statement preparation,
strategic, capital and financial planning, and operations management;
- Clinical trial and grant financial management
- Payroll processing for all employees;
- Assure the recruiting, hiring, employment and
termination practices of the Department are in compliance with
university, hospital, practice plan, state and federal guidelines;
- Provide guidance regarding human resources
issues to all faculty, staff and students within the Department;
- Act as liaisons with other university, hospital
or practice plan administrative offices;
- Provide patient registration, eligibility,
billing, coding and accounting services; and
- Coordination of residency program activities.
